Is the installation difficult? |

Cabrio-Plus modules send and receive signals over the CAN-Bus.
Due to that, the installtion is not very difficult as only a few cables have to be connected
directly on the installation position of the module.

Is it allowed to install the module? Does the module
disturb other components of the car? |

Our German-made modules are developed in strict accordance
with automotive standards and are proven within the framework of a E13-certification.
With that certification, it is legal within the ECC to install the module.

Does the module drain the battery? |
|
No, the standby power demand is below 0,03mA, an extremely low value that
correlates to less than 0,36 Watt at 12V voltage. After a long standing period, you
don´t need to worry about the battery voltage.

Is everyone able to open my cabrio with a remote control? |
|
The factory remote signals are encryped, like for locking or unlocking the doors.
The signals for the roof operation utilize exactly the same safe transfer method.

Does the module record information in the vehicle error logs? |
|
Cabrio-Plus modules do not send any error codes to the vehicle. We do not
encroach in the vehicle electronics more than necessary to accomplish full integration.

I´m not sure if I´m able to install the module by myself. |
